The space centered on depressing dark wood cabinets that sucked out the light. Thin laminate countertops didn’t uplift the kitchen either. In a room that is used so often in a home, the colors and mood were desperately needing a makeover.
Our goal was simple: brighten and modernize this kitchen! We replaced the cabinets with modern doors and a clean white finish. Granite countertops and a tile backsplash upscaled the kitchen’s look, but the biggest addition was a unique island remodel. We expanded the island to fit bar stools and drawers, turning a thruway into a warmer environment you’d want to stay in.
